Julius Kruta

Chief Judge

Julius Kruta is a freelance historian, automotive advisor and one of the leading authorities on the Bugatti marque. Formerly Head of Tradition at Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. (2003–2018), he played a central role in preserving and communicating the brand’s heritage following Volkswagen AG’s acquisition of Bugatti.
 

A regular judge at leading international concours events including Pebble Beach, Villa d’Este and Amelia Island, Julius is also a concours advisor, published author and lecturer in automotive history. As Chief Judge of The Aurora, he brings exceptional historical expertise and a deep understanding of authenticity, provenance and preservation.

Carolina Keller-Breucha

Carolina Keller-Breucha has spent more than two decades managing, researching and documenting one of the world’s most significant historic car collections, overseeing major publication and archival projects.
 

With a background in architecture, she brings a refined sense of design and historical context to the world of classic automobiles. A regular presence on the international concours circuit, Carolina works closely with collectors, restorers and industry experts worldwide, combining scholarly insight with a meticulous and thoughtful approach to judging historic automobiles.

Eugenio Amos

Eugenio Amos is an Italian automotive entrepreneur, collector, car builder and rally driver, best known as the founder of Automobili Amos and Casa GTO. Through his work — particularly the reinterpretation of the Lancia Delta Integrale — he has become a leading advocate for analogue driving experiences, combining craftsmanship, engineering and a deep respect for automotive character.
 

As a collector, driver and creator, Eugenio brings a highly personal perspective to The Aurora jury, shaped by hands-on experience, strong visual sensibility and a belief that great cars should be driven and enjoyed as much as preserved.

Tobias Reichle

Tobias Reichle’s passion for automobiles began in childhood and evolved into a career dedicated to automotive heritage, preservation and curation. After early professional experience, he joined Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., where he gained valuable insight into the history and heritage of one of the world’s most renowned automotive brands.
 

For the past seven years, Tobias has served as Managing Director and Curator of Friedhelm Loh’s collection, overseeing the presentation and stewardship of a significant collection of historic and contemporary automobiles. He brings to The Aurora jury a curator’s eye, deep historical understanding and a lifelong enthusiasm for classic cars and hypercars.

Gianluca Pellegrini

Gianluca Pellegrini has spent more than three decades at the forefront of automotive journalism. He joined Quattroruote in 1988, rising from staff writer to Editor-in-Chief in 2014, before becoming Editorial Director of Editoriale Domus’ automotive titles in 2025.
 

He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Ruoteclassiche and Quattroruote Fleet&Business, and is a member of the Car of the Year jury. Gianluca brings to The Aurora jury deep editorial expertise, a broad understanding of automotive culture and a sharp perspective on the evolution of the automobile.
